Thanksgiving week I find myself reflecting on the incredible people God has placed in my life who have helped shape my journey. Today, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to those who have supported, guided and inspired me along the way.

First, to my Brazilian parents—your unwavering determination and grit taught me the value of pursuing my dreams, no matter the obstacles. You modeled entrepreneurial spirit, relentless hard work, and the power of a vision. You showed me that our circumstances do not define us; our perseverance does. I am forever grateful for the lessons you instilled in that little boy who soaked it all in.

To my adoptive American family, who gave a foreign student a home during holidays and summer breaks—you welcomed me despite my differences, even as I worked to understand "mountain English." Your kindness and generosity created a sense of belonging when I was far from home, and I will never forget how you showed me the power of unconditional love.

To the mentors who crossed my path at just the right time: the retired Army colonel who instilled discipline and leadership, the successful businessman who taught me strategy and kindness, the seasoned pastor who grounded me in purpose, and the marketing director who believed in my potential and set me on the course that ultimately led to The A Group. Each of you gave me wisdom that continues to guide me.

To the clients who trusted me—not just as a consultant but as a partner in achieving their visions—thank you for letting me walk alongside you. Because of you, I’ve been privileged to travel the world and witness firsthand the impact of the strategies, tools, and innovations we’ve created together. Many of you have become friends, and your trust has been one of the greatest gifts of my professional life.

To my incredible team, your talent, creativity, and commitment are unmatched. You constantly innovate, solve problems, and push the boundaries of what’s possible. Without you, none of this would have been possible. You are truly the best in our field, and I am so thankful to have you by my side.
